MARKUS JOHANSSON

Markus Johansson è nato nel 1982, laureato da HDK, Facoltà di Design e Artigianato a Gothenburg, Svezia nel 2011. Oggi lavora con aziende di design sia svedesi che internazionali, così come nel suo Markus Johansson Design Studio. La sua sedia Nest è stato acquisita da MAD, il Museo di Arte e Design di New York. Per Markus, il design è di trasmettere un’emozione che colpisce la vita umana e migliorare la vita di tutti i giorni. Si ispira da diverse aree tra umani e manufatti, sperimentando, provando e studiando; la ricerca il suo vero sentiero. Il suo intento è quello di unire la tecnologia con la funzione e la forma.

Markus Johansson was born in 1982 graduated from HDK (School of Design and Crafts in Gothenburg, Sweden) 2011. Today he works with both Swedish and international design companies, as well as in his own Markus Johansson Design Studio. His widely acclaimed Nest chair has been acquired by MAD, the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.  For Markus, design is about conveying an emotion that affects human Life and enhance everyday life. He get my inspiration from different areas between humans and artifacts, through various tests, processes and studies where I am looking for the true path. His vision is about combining technology, function and form with the goal of making everyday life more content.
